Zz, just got completely owned during SAT. After some frantic mugging the night before and on the train to ACJC, finally took the test with an entire mob of other people at the badminton hall in ACJC at around 9am today. As usual got some dumb RI kids wearing uniform and looking dumb, since everyone else was wearing home clothes.

Anyway, the test was mentally taxing to a very huge extent. 3 and three quarters hour of reading long english passages, answering random questions, writing essays, and doing elementary math is certainly not what you want to be doing on a picnic. I was actually feeling dizzy after the 6th or 7th section, and the last 3 sections were really a frightful ordeal. I was just completing the questions mechanically with my head swimming around. They should really try to increase the break between the sections or reduce the length of the paper. What's worse, I found out to my abject horror that I did a vocab question wrongly from some random discourse between my erstwhile fellow SAT takers, wentao and fangjin. GG now must treat yidong to a drink liao >< Not as if I really expected to get full marks though.

On the bright side, to use a hackneyed expression, I really feel as if a large weight has been lifted off my shoulders, as I no longer have to cram vocabulary into my cranium nor force myself to complete SAT practice papers. Which means I have more time to cram physics and chem and econs and maths stuff into my cranium. Yum. The intensive learning of interesting new words may also have improved my GP essay writing cos I now have more bombastic words to use! haha.
